Farmer Wants a Wife star Claire Saunders calls out ex-fiance Farmer Andrew Coleman over his claims he was ‘blindsided’ by split

The break-up between ex-Farmer Wants a Wife couple Andrew Coleman and Claire Saunders has become even messier with Saunders slamming “bulls***” interview quotes from her ex-fiance.

In an interview with Woman’s Day published this week, Farmer Andrew claimed things were “amicable” between the pair after they called off their wedding in July.

On Tuesday Coleman thanked the outlet on Instagram for “the opportunity to set things right” along with a photo of the magazine cover featuring the quote: “Claire dumped me on Instagram!”

An angry Saunders then responded on her own Instagram page after seeing her ex-fiance’s claims: “Lies, lies, lies! Actual bulls*** lies.

“There’s nothing amicable about Andrew and I, not one single thing.”

“He’s saying we’ve communicated and all the rest of it, (but we haven’t),” she said.

Saunders said she did not wish to spill the details as she hoped to move on and “enough is enough”.

“Amicable? And he did the right thing? No,” she clapped back.

“There’s so much that hasn’t been published, but it doesn’t need to be talked about.

“He makes me feel sick to my stomach. He’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Someone’s said that to me once before; that’s 100 per cent exactly what the guy is,” Saunders said.

“So good luck to whoever he’s trying to get to move in with him now. And be careful because I don’t know which (Coleman) you’ll get.

“You might get Andrew one or two.”

She finished her message: “I’m so f****** done. It’s honestly time to move on.”

The former reality star is currently in the process of starting a new life in Darwin.

Andrew’s comments to Women’s Day suggested it was Saunders who called off the wedding and he was “blindsided” by the move.

“She had an extended stay in Tasmania and when she arrived back at the farm, she suggested we needed to talk about the wedding — she asked me how I was feeling about it all,” he said.

“During that conversation, I expressed some doubts about getting married, and I remember saying I felt like something had changed, but I didn’t know what.”

Coleman told the outlet that it was his understanding that all was OK after their conversation, however “the next day I was at a field day and Claire texted me saying she’d cancelled the wedding”.

“She’d already informed her family and friends and that I probably should come home,” he told the publication.

“When I got back, Claire was quite upset, as was I.

“She told me she had work to go to in Darwin and I was quite shocked and confused – when I left that morning, I thought things were OK!

“On top of all that, Claire made the cancellation of the wedding public in a social media post on July 8 and I hadn’t even told the guests,” the farmer said.

“It revealed a few differences there that weren’t really compatible for a long-term relationship.

“Her communication was strange at times.”

Coleman ended the interview by making the claim — which Saunders has denied — that they remained in contact.

“They’re amicable exchanges,” he said.
