Farmer Wants a Wife star Ben Scowen and new girlfriend Lily stun in new pics

Former Farmer Wants a Wife star Ben Scowen and his new girlfriend Lily have delighted fans with a glamorous new snap as they enjoyed a date night.

Ben went public with his new relationship in early August – 10 months after it was announced he’d split from the partner he met on the hit Channel 7 show.

Taking to his Instagram Stories over the weekend, Ben shared a new mirror selfie with his 23,000 followers.

The snap showed Lily rocking black knee-high boots and a mini-skirt, while Ben stood next to her looking dapper in a white jacket

“Oh we out,” the farmer, from Wingham, NSW, captioned the nap, tagging Lily and including emojis showing beer, red wine and champagne.

Earlier, he had revealed the pair were flying from Newcastle to Melbourne, presumably for a mini-break.

The couple chose to dine at Ssam Korean Barbeque – a buffet restaurant in King Street, Melbourne, with Ben documenting the delicious spread.

Again tagging Lily in his post, he wrote: “Mmmm how do you like your Wagyu”.

Meanwhile, Lily also took to her own Instagram page to reveal how she’d been “spoilt” with a jewellery gift while they’d been away.

In recent weeks, Lily has shared a slew of photos documenting her and Ben’s romance.

“You mean so much to me,” she captioned a beach photo on July 23.

A month prior, she shared a snap with her new boyfriend, calling him “my person”.

“Good to see Ben happy, about time,” one follower commented in response.

In another video, the duo could be seen walking on a beach hand-in-hand.

“Weekend away with you,” the video captioned, before the footage cut to a close up of her and Ben’s faces.

“Absolutely beautiful, sooooo happy for both of you xxx,” one follower reacted.

The new romance comes 10 months after Ben’s former partner from the Channel 7 show, Leish, announced she had been left “absolutely shocked and heartbroken” by their split.

Leish and Ben appeared to have one of the strongest connections in the season, forming a strong attachment from episode one.

“I am completely heartbroken to announce that sadly Ben and I have parted ways,” Leish wrote in an Instagram post in October 2022.

“I tried everything I could to make our relationship last after the show (including wanting to move to the farm earlier. Yes, everyone, I was always planning on moving.)“

“But unfortunately, it wasn’t there for Ben any more, and I was left absolutely shocked and heartbroken.

“I gave it my all and fell in love with Ben, his daughter and family (which hurts that little bit extra).

“I am thankful for the support I have had these past few months from the other girls on Ben’s farm and the other farms. They have been true selfless legends in helping me heal.

“I wish Ben all the best,” the post ended.

Ben later shared his own video to Instagram.

“To address what’s happened with Leish and I after the show, yes unfortunately we aren’t together any more – though we did try for some time after the show to make things work,” he said in an Instagram video.

“Like any relationship, we had our ups and downs and unfortunately we just didn’t work out.”

“I had so much love for Leish and still to the day have so much love for the girl,” Ben explained.

“I mean I don’t have a bad word to say about her at all and yeah, I hope you can appreciate our privacy in regards to why the relationship broke down.”
