Sophie Holcombe, who won the heart of Farmer Brenton and moved to his farm in Darriman, Victoria, shared the news in an Instagram story.
“I have an update to share,” she said on Tuesday night.
“With a heavy heart, I want to let everyone know Brenton and I have gone our separate ways.
“Reg and I loved our life in Darriman and have been missing the farm a lot,” she said of her dog Reginald.
“It’s a disappointing ending, but I’ve learned a lot about myself and my values.
“I wish Brenton all the best and want to thank everyone for their support, especially my family and friends.”
Brenton is yet to address the split on his social media.
The farmer has not appeared on Sophie’s Instagram since June 23, leading some to speculate in the comments of her recent posts.
“Are you still with Brenton?” one asked on Sunday.
“Where’s Brenton?” another said on July 27.
“What’s going on with you and Brenton?” a third wrote on Sunday.
In recent weeks, Sophie appears to have returned to Brisbane, where she was living before applying for the Channel 7 show.
It comes after Sophie answered a Q&A on her Instagram in early July about hers and Brenton’s life timeline.
“Not at all!” she wrote of whether the pair had a timeline.
“My mindset is that when things are meant to happen they will,” she added.
“I know some people like to map out their five-year plan and I can see the benefit of it but I think life throws too many lemons … you’re better off winging it!”
Several others asked how Sophie was adjusting to farm life after years living in the big smoke.
She confirmed that she had been working in marketing and social media and had recently landed a full-time role.
“There’s plenty of great job opportunities in regional areas,” she wrote.
“I’ve settled in quickly, I lived on a sheep and cattle farm in Victoria for 18 years, and now I am back doing that but on the other side of Vic.
“I feel like I’m home again!”
She also noted that she still had access to nice pubs, breweries and cafes, and if she needed a city fix, Melbourne was only three hours away.
“I’ve also explored a few national parks and gone for Sunday drives to get to know the area,” she wrote.
“I am a big advocate for regional Australia!
“And small businesses are usually run by absolute legends, which makes the experience all the more fun.”
Finally, one fan hit her with the big one: “Are you happy Soph?”
“VERY,” was her response.
“Especially now the show is over.
“Being ‘in hiding’ sucked.”
