Fans express concern for Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky marriage: ‘Hope everything is OK’

Fans of Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky have raised concerns for the state of their marriage.

The couple, who have been married for 10 years, have been spending significant amounts of time apart in recent months – and fans are worried.

They have holidayed separately on a number of occasions, and Pataky recently posted pictures of her and the children putting up the Christmas tree at their Byron Bay home, with Hemsworth nowhere in sight.

“Haven’t seen you and Chris together in a while. Hope all is good,” one fan commented beneath the post.

“Where is Chris?” wondered another fan.

Another noted that the couple had been sharing fewer pictures together in recent times.

Pataky’s last post featuring Hemsworth was on October 12, when she posted a number of photos from a family bike racing day.

Before that, her last picture shared to Instagram with her husband was on August 20, when they watched a FIFA Women’s World Cup game in Sydney.

“The last few months they have not been liking each other’s pictures or taking pictures with each other. Something is up 👀 I know it ..” one fan wrote.

“They have not been seen together for a while. She’s with her girlfriends and he’s with his parents and brothers and his friends so nobody is creating drama, it’s right THERE,” noted another.

“Thank you! Up until recently they have always been together. Taking pictures together doing family stuff together, but now he’s vacationing alone with the kids,” agreed one fan.

“She’s vacationing alone with the kids.

“This is the problem with social media, when you post all the time together and always support one another by liking each other’s posts and then you stop, we are going to notice.”

But others took aim at those commenting about the Thor star’s absence from the pictures.

“Maybe he’s the one taking the photos?” one fan shot back.

“Do you live nearby? Real life it’s not on Instagram,” added another.

“Um, Chris is on tour to promote his film Mad Max,” a third observed.

In October, Pataky visited Japan with nine-year-old twin sons Tristan and Sasha, but Hemsworth did not accompany them.

He took daughter India on a trip to Iceland for some daddy-daughter bonding time.

Then again in November, Pataky went back to her native Spain to attend an awards event, while Hemsworth travelled to Abu Dhabi to a holiday with his brothers Liam and Luke, their respective partners, and parents Craig and Leonie Hemsworth.

In early December, Hemsworth jetted off to Brazil to promote Max Max: Furiosa with co-star Anya Taylor-Joy.

While both are busy and active with their respective careers, and it’s not uncommon for couples who have been together a long time to travel separately, it clearly hasn’t stopped the fan speculation.

Representatives for the couple have been contacted by 7Life for comment.
