The Princess of Wales looked radiant today as she joined the rest of the Royal Family in London to attend the annual Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph and royal fans had one thing to say.
Princess Kate cut a sombre figure as she stood on one of the balconies overlooking the Cenotaph next to the Duchess of Edinburgh.
Kate opted for an upcycled and bespoke black coat dress in a military style by Catherine Walker which she has previously worn before on two occasions.
She first wore the coat dress in 2020 to attend the Remembrance Sunday service in London along with the rest of the royals and once again in 2022 when she visited Army Training Centre Pirbright in Guildford.
The tassels on the shoulders spotted in 2020 were removed for her 2022 appearance, and it looks like ahead of today’s service Kate added a bow around the collar of the coat dress. She also replaced the lighter buttons with black ones.
The future Queen completed her look with a new hat by Juliette Botterill Millinery, Queen Elizabeth’s Bahrain pearl drop earrings, a regimental brooch and three Remembrance poppies. She was also seen carrying her black Mulberry Bayswater clutch.
Royal fans loved the princess’s look and took to social media to praise her appearance.
One user wrote on X: “Lovely! I didn’t know the coat had been a re-wear, should have known really.”
Another one said: “The addition of the bow to her coat, a really beautiful way to rework it!”
A third one commented: “Just so elegant!”
A fourth one added: “The hat is more feminine/less severe this year. It’s like a lovely subtle celebration of the POW surviving her battles this year.”
A fifth one opined: “Impeccable as usual. Lovely hat.”
