Elvis granddaughter announces book tour for Lisa Marie Presley’s ‘raw’ memoir | Books | Entertainment

Before her sudden death last year, Lisa Marie Presley had been working on a “raw” and “vulnerable” autobiography with help from her daughter Riley Keough.

The highly-anticipated work will delve into the late star’s childhood with her father Elvis Presley, who died when she was just nine, to her four failed marriages including to Michael Jackson and Nicolas Cage.

No doubt her story will have plenty of highs too amid the difficulties of fame and the tragedy of her son Benjamin’s death at just 27.

The upcoming book titled From Here To The Great Unknown is set to be published on October 15.

And now Riley has announced she will be hitting the road on a book tour in celebration of Lisa Marie’s memoir.

Random House announced today: “Sometimes the most famous among us are the least known. Join Riley Keough for a one-of-a-kind conversation as she pays tribute to her mother Lisa Marie Presley’s incredible memory with the release of their memoir, FROM HERE TO THE GREAT UNKNOWN.

“Joined by a special guest in six different cities, Riley will dive into a legendary tale of American royalty, family ties, the highs and lows of fame, love, grief, and the unbreakable bond between a mother and daughter. Comment “BOOK TOUR” [on Instagram] and we’ll send you a link to reserve your spot direct to your inbox.”

Riley will be kicking off the book tour on October 9 in New York City before heading to Graceland on October 12 and St Louis on October 13. She will then head to Nashville on October 14, followed by London on October 15 and Los Angles on October 20.

From Here To The Great Unknown is released on October 15, 2024.
