Duchess Sophie wows in bright yellow as she attends garden party in Northern Ireland | Royal | News

Duchess Sophie turned heads during her latest appearance on Tuesday in Northern Ireland.

The Duchess of Edinburgh joined her husband, Prince Edward for the annual garden party at Hillsborough Castle near Belfast.

Tuesday’s garden party was given by the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, Hilary Benn.

Sophie and Edward were all smiles and met with people from across the country, who were invited because of the positive impact they have made in the wider community.

The Duchess stunned in a bright yellow dress she also wore back in June for King Charles’s Trooping the Colour celebrations in London.

She wore Beulah London’s Yahvi dress in lemon and paired it with a cornflower blue coat by Suzannah London, a navy veiled hat by milliner Jane Taylor and Sophie Habsburg’s Alpha bag, also in navy.

Sophie finished the look with a pair of pink Jimmy Choo heels and a set of glittering £24,5k diamond hoops by G Collins & Sons.

Edward looked smart in a black suit, paired with a white shirt and a light blue tie.

Royal fans loved Sophie’s look and her choice of dress and took to social media to applaud her.

One user wrote on X: “Simply beautiful! What a lovely dress, the colour is fab and suits her so well, especially with that tan.”

A second one added: “Lady Louise has a wonderful wardrobe to borrow from. Her mother, Sophie has a fantastic sense of style. Something for every occasion.”

A third one commented: “I love her yellow and blue together.”

A fourth one said: “The Duchess looks radiant in yellow.”

A fifth one chimed: “Such a pretty dress and HRH looks lovely in that colour.”

Earlier in the day, the royal couple also attended luncheon for representatives of their patronages based in Northern Ireland.
