Duchess Sophie flaunts new £1,600 outfit this week | Royal | News

Duchess Sophie delighted royal fans after she made a new appearance this week.

The Duchess of Edinburgh met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Thérèse Kayikwamba Wagner, on Monday.

The two women had a “rich and inspiring exchange on women, peace and security” and told each other stories of the resilience of women in Congo and around the world, as well as the “remarkable work of the Duchess in South Kivu and beyond”.

Prince Edward’s wife looked stunning in full autumn attire as she sported a floral-printed blouse with flared trousers featuring brown hues.

Sophie wore ME+EM’s silk cotton hand-painted floral print blouse in brown (£175) and Gabriela Hearst’s wool Vesta trousers in Chocolate (£762).

She completed the look with a pair of her beloved Jimmy Choo Love 85 pumps in brown croc embossed (£675).

Royal fans were impressed with the duchess’s latest sartorial choice and went on social media to praise her.

One user wrote on X: “I like the brown and orange tones – very autumn. I also like (but would never wear) the Minister’s dress. It’s very dramatic and I like the print.”

A second one commented: “So stylish – Super Sophie never disappoints. I love her wardrobe.”

A third one chimed: “Love the new top!”

A fourth one added: “Two great examples of beautiful without being revealing. The perfect look for official meeting.”

A fifth one opined: “I love how she loves patterns and isn’t afraid of them. I would look like a piece of upholstery in a lot of the things she wears.”

A sixth one said: “Very smart outfit.”
