Deepak Fertilisers And Petrochemicals among a host of other companies may likely remain in focus today as they had fixed September 3 as the record date for the purpose of payment of dividend to its eligible shareholders.

This means today is the last day to buy shares of these companies to qualify for the announced dividends.

Earlier in the month of May, the board of Deepak Fertilisers had announced a final dividend of Rs 8.5 per share for its eligible shareholders and later fixed the record date for the purpose.

“This is to inform you that the Board of Directors of the Company held today have: Recommended dividend at the rate of Rs. 8.5/- per equity share of face value of Rs.10/-

each of the Company for the financial year ended 31st March, 2024,” the company had said in a filing to the exchanges.Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals has declared 23 dividends since June 2001, according to the data available on Trendlyne.In addition to Deepak Fertlisers, here is a list of other companies that will start trading ex-dividend from Tuesday, according to the StockEdge data:

Ganesha Ecosphere will be paying out a dividend of Rs 3 per share for its eligible shareholders.

Goa Carbon declared a dividend of Rs 10 per share.

Ion Exchanges (India) declared a dividend of Rs 1.5 per share.

Lakshmi Automatic Loom Works announced a dividend of Rs 12 per share.

Lehar Footwears announced a final dividend of Rs 0.3 per share.

Sakthi Finance’s board will be paying a dividend of Re 1 per share.

Savera Industries will pay a dividend of Rs 3 per share.

Tamboli Industries declared a final dividend of Re 1 per share.

The Indian Wood Products Company announced a dividend of Rs 0.1 per share.

Tha Karnataka Bank announced a final dividend of Rs 5.5 per share.

Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri’s board has announced a dividend of Rs 1.75 per share for its eligible shareholders.
