Not long after Proenza Schouler preempted the official start of New York Fashion Week with a stripped-back show for 140 people, a handful of the world’s most famous women–among them Naomi Campbell and Dakota Johnson–attended the Bulgari Studio Party at the penthouse of The Refinery at Domino. The spring 2025 fashion season has begun, and so too have the parties.
Johnson continued to play the new-age bohemian with a pendulous amulet swinging from her neck. The actor wore said mysterious jewel–a sort of Roman coin mounted on a crystal-encrusted life preserver–with an aqueous Gucci slip cut from muddy-brown silk, Gucci stilettos and a miniature Jackie bag. (Alessandro Michele’s go-to girl has yet to move on to Valentino.) Campbell, meanwhile, debuted a razored bob almost as severe as her world-famous bone structure with a stack of chokers wrapped around her throat.
The duo posed alongside Damson Idris and Paris Jackson to celebrate the launch of Bulgari’s new Tubogas collection—a queen’s ransom of serpentine necklaces, watches and bracelets–named after the somewhat less glamorous Tubogas tubes once used to transport pressurized gas in the 1920s.
