CRIME SCENE: Man, 61, sought for alleged indecent act downtown

Toronto Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a man wanted for an alleged indecent act on June 19 around 11:30 a.m. at Queen St. W. and Spadina Ave.

It’s reported a man was on the northbound streetcar platform and exposed himself to multiple people.

John Tiano, 61, of Toronto, is wanted for committing an indecent act in a public place.

He is described as 5-foot-8, 200 pounds, with short grey hair, a grey beard and brown eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 416-808-5200 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

MAN, 22, WANTED FOR RETAIL THEFTS IN DOWNTOWN TORONTO

Toronto Police are requesting the public’s assistance locating a man wanted in a theft investigation.

It’s alleged that between June 20 and July 19, there were multiple thefts from three different retail locations in the area of Yonge and Dundas Sts.

Police allege a variety of merchandise was stolen from these retail locations on 13 occasions over 12 different days with a total value around $25,000.

Investigators have identified a suspect.

Muhye Alzghoul, 22, of Toronto, is wanted for thirteen counts of theft under $5000.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 416-808-5200 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

FOUR CHARGED IN NORTH YORK ROBBERY

One woman and three men face numerous charges in connection with a July 24 robbery in the area of Finch Ave. W. and Dufferin St.

Toronto Police allege a man was transporting cash in a vehicle and when he arrived at the delivery location, a silver Ford Escape pulled up and two men exited wearing masks, one with a handgun who ordered the victim to the ground.

It’s further alleged the duo took the cash from the man’s vehicle and then fled the area in the Ford Escape, which officers were able to find and observed as three men exited that car and took off in a black Range Rover parked nearby.

Police were able to stop the Range Rover and take four suspects into custody. Two search warrants were executed and it’s further alleged a replica handgun, the stolen cash and other items of evidentiary value related to the investigation were seized.

Charged with robbery with firearm, disguise with intent and possession property obtained by crime over are Jovany Mattos Alfonso, 45, of no fixed address, Edgar Beltran Bautista, 36, of no fixed address, and Noe Gonzalez, 35, of Toronto.

Isabel Otero Pulido, 69, of Toronto, is charged with possession property obtained by crime over $5,000 and failure to comply a probation order.
