Toronto Police have charged Omar Mohamed, 32, of Edmonton, with second-degree murder in the death of Mohamud Abdi Duale, 32, of Toronto.

Cops say officers responded to a shooting in the area of Lawrence Ave. W. and Ralph St. – east of Weston Rd. – around 4:45 p.m. on April 14.
The victim was located with gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooter had fled.

MAN, 23, ACCUSED OF DEADLY HAMILTON SHOOTING
Alexander La, 23, who Hamilton Police have in custody on other charges, now faces a second-degree murder rap for the death of Randy Peardon.
The cause of death has been confirmed as multiple gunshot wounds.
Police say at 1:45 p.m. on June 15, they were called to 100 Connaught Ave. for reports of a deceased male.
An autopsy confirmed Peardon’s death was a homicide and while he lived in the area, he did not reside at the address where he was found.

UNIDENTIFIED MAN WANTED FOR SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT IN EAST YORK
Toronto Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an alleged assault on July 11 in East York.
It’s reported that around 4 p.m., a man approached an adult caregiver and a minor in the area of Taylor Creek Park and Lumsden Ave. and attempted to grab the minor, but the caregiver intervened and and the suspect fled.
No injuries were sustained.
Police are looking for a man who is described as 20 to 30 years-old, 5-foot-10, with facial acne, who was wearing a grey hoodie, black track pants and blue headphones.

MOTORCYCLIST KILLED IN SCARBOROUGH COLLISION
Toronto Police are asking anyone who may have security or dash camera footage of the intersection of Sheppard Ave. E. and Atrium Ln. on July 25 around 7:26 p.m. to share it in connection with a vehicle and motorcycle collision.
It’s reported that a 41-year-old man was operating a 2017 Apri motorcycle at a high rate of speed southbound on Sheppard Ave. E. and at the same time a 58-year-old man was driving a 2017 Toyota Camry northbound on Sheppard Ave. E.

Cops allege the driver of the Toyota Camry made a left turn just south of the intersection and was struck by the motorcycle and the rider was ejected from the motorcycle and transported to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the Camry remained on scene.
HAMILTON SHOOTINGS BELIEVED TO BE CONNECTED
Hamilton Police have confirmed Wednesday night’s shooting incidents at 135 Upper Centennial Pkwy. and Spring Valley Cr. were committed by the same person in the same vehicle.
Residents in the area of Spring Valley Cr., Brigadoon Dr., Winterberry Tr. and surrounding neighbourhoods are being asked to check their video surveillance footage for a suspicious dark grey Honda Civic between 8:20 p.m. and 8:40 p.m.

DRIVER CRITICALLY INJURED IN MUTLI-VEHICLE CRASH IN ETOBICOKE
Toronto Police are asking anyone who may have security or dash camera footage of the Steeles Ave. W. and Steinway Blvd. area from Thursday around 3:30 p.m. to share it.
It’s reported a red Dodge Ram was travelling east on Steeles Ave. W. and a grey Kia Optima was attempting to make a left turn from northbound Steinway to westbound Steeles.
Cops allege the red Dodge Ram struck the Kia Optima, causing the vehicles to strike a black Ford Escape travelling westbound on Steeles.
The driver of the Kia Optima was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The other two drivers were uninjured.
