Cops seek 2 men after Bowmanville convenience store robbed

Durham Regional Police are hunting for a pair of male suspects after responding to a robbery call at a Bowmanville convenience store.

Police said two men entered a Circle K at 180 King St. E. on Wednesday at 2:20 a.m. and attempted to take cash from the register.

According to police, the men were unsuccessful but were able to force an employee to open the lottery ticket and cigarette cabinets. The suspects fled before police arrived.

The victim did not sustain physical injuries.

The first suspect is a Black male, about 5-foot-6 and between 20-30 years old with a heavy build. He was wearing a black balaclava, a black/blue sweater and grey jogging pants.

The second suspect is a Black male, about 5-foot-8 and between 20-30 years old with a slender build. He was wearing a black balaclava, black winter coat, grey jogging pants and brown shoes.
