The man at the centre of an AFL storm has been identified.

Following the sighting, the AFL integrity unit spoke to Essendon.
News Corp reports that Yucel was jailed in 2016 after he shot and killed “aspiring cricketer” Rahat Khan in the Melbourne suburb, Dallas, in the north. Yucel, a kickboxer, pleaded guilty to manslaughter and copped a five-year sentence.
He is said to be a mate of Hind and in a “friendship group” with veteran forward Jake Stringer.
When Taylor approached Hind, he inquired about Yucel.
“How do you know each other,” the inquisitive Taylor asked.
Hind responded: “You don’t wanna know … No, We’re just good mates. Just met him a few months ago and he looks after me. He looks after me and Jakey (Stringer),” Hind said.
BT: “What do you mean he looks after you? What does he do for you?”
Hind: “He does plenty, we catch up at a cafe everyday. We’re from different walks of life.”
Yucel also has convictions for affray and intentionally causing serious injury.
News Corp also reports that Yucel had been “living in fear of underworld figure Farshad Rasooli” and in 2015 there had been “a confrontation” over an alleged debt.
During that confrontation Yucel’s friend reportedly shot the bikie-linked Rasooli in the leg.
At the end of the season, Hind was cut by Essendon and now Stringer might be also out the door as he seeks a move to the GWS Giants.
Stringer has one year to go in his contract but wants a longer arrangement. Essendon has refused to extend the existing deal.
Essendon have confirmed that the AFL spoke to them about visitors in the rooms after a game.
