Carrie Bickmore dazzled on the red carpet at the 2024 Logie Awards, but her night didn’t end without a bit of drama.
The 43-year-old TV and radio star took to Instagram on Tuesday to reveal a painful injury she sustained during TV’s night of nights.

In a post on her Instagram Story, Bickmore shared a photo of herself at what looks to be a pharmacy, showing off her injured thumb.
Her manicured nail was visibly damaged—partially torn from the nail bed with a noticeable split, and signs of bleeding.
While she didn’t detail how the injury occurred, Bickmore playfully pointed the finger at Australian Idol judge Amy Shark, captioning the photo, “Amy Shark, I blame you.”
The injury update was quickly met with concern and support from her followers after she posted the same image on her Instagram feed, writing, “Beauty is pain”.
One fan remarked: “If ever there was a picture that made”.
Amy Shark responded: “And pain is beauty LOL.”
Others rushed to the comments to offer advice or suggestions on how to heal the nail.
“Legit the worst pain. The only way to fix it is to grow it,” one said.
“Teabag and superglue = bandage protection until it grows out. File down when you can. You’ll be right,” a second suggested.
Another added: “If ever there was a photo where you can feel the pain through it, this is it.”
Bickmore stunned in an off-the-shoulder Jason Grech open-slit black dress.
“My Logies dress brief was effortless and comfy, so I could just go and have fun! Jason @jasongrech you nailed it!” she said of the gown on Instagram.
