Welcome to September, Cancer. At the end of August, Uranus, the rebel planet of the zodiac, went retrograde in Taurus and your 11th House of Friendship. As a result, you saw yourself letting go of any frenemy-type relationships. Regardless of your age, everyone is too old for those. Unfortunately, while astrology is super fun (and for hot people), it’s not a fail-proof tool in this economy. With that in mind, the lovely stars say that some days are better for accumulating abundance than others. They just do. One of those comes on Sunday, September 3, when powerful Venus finally goes direct in Leo and your 2nd House of Possessions. You may be at your wit’s ends waiting on invoices to be paid or email responses from creative collaborators, but that was likely to the effects of Venus retrograde, as she rules love, money, and beauty. Now that she’s direct, you should see movement regarding any creative or financial discussions.
Early August gives many reasons for celebration. The next day, on Monday, September 4, Jupiter goes retrograde in Taurus and your 11th House of Friendship. While retrogrades are typically associated with adverse effects, they can also be learning periods with upsides. Jupiter, the planet of luck, offers a chance for do-overs during its backward dance. This retrograde, which lasts through Saturday, December 30, presents an opportunity to reconnect with someone. Some Cancers may bump into dear friends they haven’t seen for 13 years at a party. For those with an old friend you miss in mind as you read this, go ahead and reach out.
