As Richard, 35, and Khalil and Khalid Bouelias, both in their 40s, tried to leave the hotel, NSW Police allege they assaulted police and resisted arrest.

Richard Bouelias is accused of injuring a 32-year-old senior constable, who then deployed his taser.

All three men were arrested, and two were taken to Day Street Police Station and the other to Surry Hills Police Station, NSW Police said.

The injured officer was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a stable condition.

“The police officer was injured, he certainly received some injuries to his face, but he’s OK,” NSW Police deputy commissioner Mal Lanyon told 7NEWS.

“The 43-year-old man and 47-year-old man were both charged with assault police officer in execution of duty without actual bodily harm, hinder or resist police officer in the execution of duty, and affray,” police said.

The three spent the night in jail before appearing at Parramatta Local Court on Sunday, when Khalil and Khalid were released on bail.

Khalil told 7NEWS reporters outside court that he “didn’t do anything wrong.”

“Family that fight together stay together,” he said.

Richard, who did not apply for bail, remains behind bars.
