The late Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter Lady Louise Windsor is reportedly considering moving down under, after finding love with Australian student Felix Robert da Silva-Clamp.
Lady Windsor is the daughter of King Charles’ youngest brother Prince Edward and his wife Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh.

She and Felix met at St Andrew’s University in Scotland, where Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, first laid eyes on each other in 2001 before marrying a decade later.
Felix is the son of British solicitor, Charles William da Silva-Clamp, while his mother, Kendall Clamp, lives in Melbourne, and holds a master’s degree in epidemiology.
Felix attended Melbourne Grammar School from 2017 to 2022.
On Thursday, royal commentator Victoria Arbiter joined Nat Barr on Sunrise, where she explained that Lady Windsor was interested in taking classes at Macquarie University in Sydney.
“Both of their degrees allow for a study abroad semester — Louise at the moment is in her third semester. If she is likely to do a semester of study abroad, it would likely be in her fourth year,” Arbiter said.
“She is interested in studying at Macquarie University in Sydney. So, this time next year, you could be welcoming a royal down under.”
The pair have been described as quite serious, after falling in love when they were cast in a student play.
“The University of St Andrews community is relatively small compared to most universities, so it is possible they met early on,” Arbiter said.
“It is understood they developed a friendship and grew close when they were both cast in a student-run production of a play this year called Dragon Fever.
“It was described as an ambitious cross between an Agatha Christie movie and The Hobbit and it is said Lady Louise delivered a compelling performance and Felix was named as the best scene stealer.
“They were photographed at a fundraiser on behalf of the drama society. They were seen taking selfies and hugging. A romance that’s lasted well beyond the theatre run.”
Felix is also said to have met Lady Windsor’s parents.
“Certainly in royal circles that’s not a thing until it is quite serious — Felix is only 20 and Lady Louise is 21, so they have a lot of time ahead of them,” Arbiter said.
“In the Northern Hemisphere summer, Lady Louise took part in the Sandringham horse driving tournament, and while there he was seen chatting and laughing with her mother, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh.
“So, it would seem things are going well.”
Arbiter said the British royals were most certainly ready for an Aussie to join their ranks.
“(The royals) love Australia collectively,” she said.
“When you look back at history, Aussies always give a warm welcome. It is where Charles and Diana brought Will on their first overseas trip.
“Harry and Meghan said they were expecting their first baby whilst on their trip here. Zara and Mike Tyndall spend a lot of time here, they love it.
“I think the royals would definitely welcome an Aussie to the royal family.”
