It’s unclear what kind of team the Jays will field next year, but they’ll definitely offer fans a new option to take in games.

The Jays announced Monday what they called a “field side corner club,” which will offer “a uniquely enhanced membership experience,” the team said in a release.

“Located in right field, the new space features one-of-a-kind views from field level, a private bar, food stalls with distinct offerings, and an open-air patio, all directly connected to Season Ticket Member seats in the newly renovated right field seating bowl.”

The area the seats are replacing. Toronto Blue Jays/Handout.

The Jays are looking to make the new right field haunt feel like a sports bar inside the ballpark. It is aimed at fans “looking to elevate their Blue Jays game day experience without compromising game action. Located on field level, the club looks directly into right field while the open-air terrace is nestled beside the right field baseline.”

Tickets in the section will start at less than $100 per game, according to the Jays, who said fans can become members of the new area by putting down a deposit.

It’s the latest in a series of extensive renovations undertaken by the Jays over the last few off-seasons in an attempt to modernize Rogers Centre, which opened in 1989 as SkyDome.

The section will get an official name before Opening Day 2025.
