This is Texas! Beyoncé turned the volume to 100 for her brand new GQ cover, rocking several different hairstyles with tons of body and va-va-voom volume, a la the signature look of the Lonestar State.
On the cover, we get not one but two Beyoncés to pore over. The billboard version wears her platinum blonde hair down in loose waves with tons of lift at the roots, her French-manicured hand gripping a glass of SirDavis whisky, while the smaller Bey who is “painting” said billboard wears her hair sleek and straight with her now-signature cowboy hat perched atop her head.
In another shot, the Cowboy Carter musician puffs on a cigar with her hair pulled up in a glamorous updo of big, full ringlets, with one curl pulled out to brush over her eye. This is night-on-the-town, steakhouse-dinner, post-shopping-spree-at-Neiman-Marcus Texas glam.
Later, we see the star in triplicate wearing her hair in the big, full curls she’s sported through much of the Cowboy Carter promo cycle, parted to one side with tons of bombshell body like the beauty pageant hair of yore. It’s the same look as the cover pic, but we see more of the hair via the three Beyoncés—not to mention a great detail shot of her mani.
