AYONZ Brooklyn Rechargeable Mini Food Chopper BMC-300 recalled after users injured by exposed blades

A popular kitchen gadget sold at Target has been recalled following incidents in which users were injured.

The Brooklyn Rechargeable Mini Food Chopper BMC-300, made by AYONZ Pty Ltd and sold at Target, is a metallic food processor with a glass bowl.

The product is being recalled due to a fault where it can be operated when the glass bowl is not correctly locked.

This exposes the rotating blades — creating a risk of serious injury, including lacerations.

This defect has occurred and caused injuries.

The food chopper was sold nationally and online from June 8 to August 7.

Consumers should immediately stop using the product and return it to their nearest Target store for a full refund.
