Aussie swimming champion Brianna Throssell has announced her engagement while on a luxury holiday in Europe post-Paris Olympics.
The 28-year-old from Subiaco is relaxing on a European holiday she will never forget after saying yes to the love of her life (health and fitness enthusiast Josh Milner) on the Amalfi Coast in Italy.
Throssell took to Instagram on Monday to share her happy news which featured a series of stunning photos of the couple on a boat.

“We said yes to forever! Here’s to endless love, laughter, and making memories that will last a lifetime,” she said.
Throssell looked glowing in a summery white dress while she showed off her gleaming diamond ring.
The athlete won a gold medal at the Paris Olympics in the women’s 4x200m freestyle relay alongside her teammates Mollie O’Callaghan, Lani Pallister and Ariarne Titmus.
Her friends and fellow swimmers took to the comments of her post with messages of support.
Titmus said: “I am in awe of you two! Congratulations to the most beautiful couple.”
Shayna Jack said: “Congratulations! So happy for you both. These photos are stunning.”
Taylor Mckeown said: “Absolutely gorgeous. I am so happy for you Bri and so proud congratulations.”
Former athlete Tamsin Cook, also from Perth said: “Congratulations Bria.”
WA fitness trainer Baylee Saltmarsh said: “Congrats honey!”
Following her Olympic success, she jetted off to idyllic European destinations while nursing a a torn calf she injured playing tennis.
Throssell first represented Australia at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio but it wasn’t until 2021 when she won gold at the Tokyo Olympics.
She won a gold medal in the Women’s 4 x 100 metre medley relay and a bronze medal in the Mixed 4 x 100 metre medley relay after swimming the butterfly leg in the heats for both events.
In the 2022 Australia Day Honours Throssell was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia.
Outside of her swimming career, Throssell has pursued studies in physiotherapy and pre-medicine at Notre Dame University.
In August 2021, she sold her business West Coast Dress Hire she established over three years.
