When South Australian couple Elisabeth Pel and Harley Liebelt tied the knot two weeks ago, there was only one place they wanted to have wedding photos taken – their local Coles supermarket.
The newlyweds are former Coles workers who found love in the aisles of the Mount Barker store after meeting in the fresh produce department in 2016.
Since then, they’ve gone on to build a beautiful life and family together – and have just recently headed down the aisle.

“We worked for Coles Mount Barker, SA, for four years and we met each other in the grocery department,” Elisabeth explains.
“We have since had a beautiful son together and two weeks ago we finally got married after seven years.”
The bride went on to explain that it had long been their dream to have their wedding photos taken at the Coles store where they met – and their photographer, Jacob Jennings, was only too happy to make it happen.
“Our photographer is an absolute wonderful human and when I suggested to him that we should take some photos at the Coles store we met in and the same aisle we met in he jumped at the idea!” Elisabeth said.
“So, on December 8 we went into the store in the afternoon and took photos.
“These photos are more than I could have asked for.
“We felt absolutely out of place but he made it wonderful and the store manager was also wonderful.”
Elisabeth and Harley’s unique wedding photos have already received a heartwarming response on social media.
“This is so fantastic in every way,” said one.
Another added: “I can’t deal.”
A third wrote: “Damn, this is the best.”
