On the eve of Forces of Fashion 2023, Tommy Hilfiger hosted a chic breakfast celebrating this year’s CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Finalists. Atop the 35th floor of One World Trade Center, fashion funders and Vogue Editors joined the iconic American designer in the Bon Appétit kitchen. Mr. Hilfiger hosted the chic breakfast as a proud proclamation of his commitment to supporting emerging designers.

“(Being a designer) is never easy, but never give up because you have that dream, you have that goal, and you have that—If you can get through the challenge and learn from it, you can become successful. I credit my mentors and partners over the years for helping me,” Mr. Hillfiger told the designers, sharing his experiences of overcoming obstacles on his path to building his business.

The dining space featured wrapping cityscape views of Manhattan’s financial district and vibrant florals designed by Raúl Àvila. Breakfast-goers included Angelo Fabricio Urrutia (4sDesigns), Colin LoCascio, Rachel Scott (Diotima), Kim Shui, Kozaburo Akasaka, Melitta Baumeister, Sami Miro, (Sami Miro Vintage), design duo Everard Best and Téla D’Amore (Who Decides War), Henry Zankov (Zankov), and partners Fletcher Kasell and Tanner Richie (Tanner Fletcher). Other attendees included Vogue’s Mark Holgate, Chioma Nnadi, Alexandra Michler Kopelman and Naomi Elizée, alongside the CFDA’s Steven Kolb.
