Ariana Grande’s Brother Slams Online Trolls For Spreading Cannibalism Conspiracy Theories

Ariana Grande’s brother is fed up with the people accusing his sister of cannibalism on social media.

While some fans are noting the baseless rumor isn’t new, Frankie Grande only caught wind of it Thursday when BuzzingPop, a social media account covering pop culture, reported that people are fanning the flames — supposedly “to deter people” from attending Ariana Grande’s concerts.

“HAHAHAHAHAHA. Wow!” Frankie Grande wrote Thursday on X, formerly Twitter. “This might be the most creative and lowest y’all have ever gone. Reaching new depths daily! Listen, I know my sister’s been eating the girls up for years but this is a bit extreme!”

“Besides, she’s vegan,” he continued. “See you on tour!”

The social media post Frankie Grande shared Thursday included a screenshot showing that the TikTok algorithm suggested “ariana cannibalism” in the app’s search field after a user typed in the singer’s first name. It also included a screenshot of one of the related videos.

“Ariana Grande literally explained in a song how it happened and people still say it’s fake,” read the original caption, with overlaid text reading: “Police found evidence of human Ramains [sic] and cannibalism in the home of Ariana grande sold in Chicago in 2013.” There is no evidence to back the claim.

Frankie said the cannibalism rumor is the "lowest" people have gone in terms of his sister.

That outlandish story has been bandied about on social media for years now but likely garnered renewed life in June when Ariana Grande shared on the “Podcrushed” podcast that her dream dinner guest would be Jeffrey Dahmer, the late serial killer and cannibal.

The answer went so viral that the mother of one of Dahmer’s victims spoke out against her.

The Grammy winner explained on the podcast that she’s simply had a lifelong fascination with true crime. Her loyal fans, meanwhile, have spoken up in support of her.

“It’s insane how the cannibalism joke has been … used with multiple artists, but it only took Ariana Grande for it to suddenly stop being a joke and become a ‘reality,’” one fan wrote on X, “I’ve yet to know what was that awful thing she did to make y’all hate her so much.”

Ariana Grande recently released her seventh studio album, “Eternal Sunshine.” She explained in a podcast interview Tuesday that though she’s hoping to perform it live soon, production on “Wicked” and its sequel are keeping her busy.
