Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo arrived at the Super Bowl on Sunday wearing sparkly custom Louis Vuitton jerseys inspired by their upcoming Wicked movie.

The co-stars, who play Glinda and Elphaba respectively in the movie, which just released a first trailer, strutted into the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas holding hands and flashing beaming smiles.

In sync with their characters’ iconic colour schemes, the Thank U, Next singer, 30, flaunted a flawlessly pink ensemble, while the Greatest Showman actress, 37, radiated in green.

They both accessorised their looks with maxi glasses and black heeled boots, while keeping jewellery to a minimum with some dainty earrings.

The movie, which will be released in two parts, delves into the origins of the witches of Oz. The plot revolves around Elphaba, who is destined to become the Wicked Witch of the West, and Glinda, the future Good Witch of the North.

The trailer gave viewers a sneak peek at the cast and featured a snippet of Erivo performing ‘Defying Gravity’, a standout song from the musical.

Director Jon M. Chu has promised a one-of-a-kind experience, focusing on using real-life settings for his movies Emerald City instead of just using CGI to create a “fully immersive experience.”

The filming wrapped up in January following delays due to two Hollywood strikes in 2023.

The movie’s lead actors celebrated the conclusion of the shoot by giving fans sneak peeks into their characters via social media posts.
