Amber Valetta, Carolyn Murphy, Courteney Cox, and Michelle Monaghan Came Out to Celebrate SPRWMN

On Wednesday night, a group of superwomen gathered on the candlelit garden terrace at the Chateau Marmont to celebrate the latest collection from Sprwmn.

Guests including Amber Valetta, Carolyn Murphy, Courteney Cox, Michelle Monaghan, Malin Ackerman, Monet Mazur, Rebecca Gayheart, Anita Ko, Chloe Bartoli, Djuna Bel, Dylan Blue Murphy, Jeanann Williams, Jenni Kayne, Juliette Labelle, Liat Baruch, Maryam Malakpour and Venetia Kidd turned out to toast the L.A. based womenswear brand and its French-born founder Ambre Dahan.

Launched in 2016, with a capsule collection of stretchy French plongé leather pieces (which were quickly picked up by Nevena Borissova of cult West Hollywood boutique Curve) the label (pronounced Superwoman) has since become a staple for L.A.s style-savvy set.

The evening marked the first ‘official’ event for the under-the-radar brand, and the temperature had dropped just enough for the high-wattage crowd to show off Sprwmn’s signature leather, suede, and cashmere pieces over glasses of champagne. The leather tube dress proved to be the real hero of the night, however, as Gayheart, Valetta, Murphy, and Dahan all sported the piece in various seasonal colorways.

As the guests took their seats for a family-style dinner, Dahan told Vogue, “I’ve never done a dinner like this before, and it felt like it was time to connect all the dots. These women are my superwomen. They are strong, empowered women who have inspired and uplifted me since I moved here twenty years ago.”
