Port Adelaide pressure forward Jed McEntee has been confirmed as the hard-luck story of this weekend’s AFL finals.
The youngster has been dropped for the cut-throat final against Hawthorn on Friday night.
McEntee had just six disposals in last week’s nightmare loss to Geelong, but did kick a goal in the 83-point defeat.

Often given a defensive job on the opposition’s best defenders, McEntee famously tagged superstar Cat Tom Stewart in the Power’s upset win in Round 9.
He also kept rising Hawk Josh Weddle to just eight touches in the Power’s win earlier this season.
But coach Ken Hinkley has opted to bring in Todd Marshall to play alongside Charlie Dixon and Mitch Georgiades in a bid to stretch the Hawks’ defence.
Dixon has kept his place in the team despite having just three kicks and taking one mark against the Cats.
Josh Sinn has replaced injured defender Ryan Burton in the Power’s other change.
The Hawks meanwhile made one change, with Jai Serong coming in for Sam Frost, who has been ruled out for the remainder of the finals with a foot injury.
In the other semi-final, Brisbane have kept the same side that accounted for Carlton last week with Jack Payne named despite being subbed off with a knee injury.
The Giants made just one change, with tagger Toby Bedford replacing Toby McMullin.
