AFL glam couple Stephen and Rebecca Coniglio share baby news as club celebrates boom

The GWS Giants are in the middle of a baby boom.

Superstar captain Toby Greene celebrated his little bundle of joy at the start of the season and it wasn’t that long ago former captain Stephen Coniglio and his wife Rebecca celebrated the arrival of their first child.

In fact, it was only last November when Amira was born and now the Coniglio’s have just revealed Amira is getting a sister.

“With our hearts full, we are blessed to announce that Amira will be awaiting the arrival of her little sister 🤍🎀,” Rebecca revealed on her Instagram page.

That announcement was obviously flooded with messages of congratulations with the Giants taking to social media to say: “Our family just continues to grow.”

And indeed, it does, with the Coniglio news coming just 24 hours after another baby reveal from another GWS gun.

Star swingman Harry Himmelberg and his fiancée Taylia Sarris have also revealed they are soon-to-be parents.

In a heartwarming video posted to Instagram, the gender of their baby was revealed when the couple let their two dogs tuck into a decadent heart-shaped cake.

As the dogs licked away the white icing, a pink filling was soon revealed, indicating their growing family would soon become three with the addition of a baby girl.

Himmelberg and Sarris then kissed and embraced as they came to terms with the life-changing news.

The Giants were one of the first to congratulate the couple followed by friends such as GWS netballer Jamie-Lee Price.

The club took to their social media to also announce the news by asking Himmelberg for a photo to share with fans.

The couple’s baby news comes after the pair got engaged in France in October last year.

Himmelberg will remain a Giant until at least the end of the 2029 season after signing a huge deal last year.
