There’s been a trend recently, of people posting photos of precious baby animals captioned “This is me btw. If you even care.” It seems that Bella Hadid may also be partial to this genre of online content, given her latest outfit.

Hadid, who has turned the sidewalk outside of her NoHo home base into a runway, has hit the streets of New York City in hot new Adidas and vintage Tom Ford-era Gucci pants. But today, she wore a top that anybody with a penchant for the cutesy (ironic or sincere) would surely flock to.

The model donned a pointelle baby tee with lace-lined sleeves and neckline, affixed with a diminutive bow. As if the white shirt wasn’t sweet enough as is, it was printed with the image of a baby deer in repose. After last year’s emphasis on the girlhood trend gave us a bit of a toothache, Hadid makes the case for hanging onto a bit of that sweetness.

The Orebella founder created some contrast with her look, pairing the hyper-feminine tee, from Moth Apparel, with a pair of cutoff denim micro shorts, worn-in brown cowboy boots, and wraparound shades. She added a more bohemian touch with silver, turquoise-embellished jewelry and a leather shoulder bag. Leave it to Bella Hadid to do even the most pervasive micro-trend on her terms.
