When Olay first launched the powerful Super Serum in the US, it made waves in the skincare world and fans dubbed it as a “miracle in a bottle”. The product reached the UK in April and sold out within the first week.
For those who missed out on the product when it first launched, we have spotted 50% off the Super Serum on Amazon, making it cheaper than Boots’ price. What makes the Olay product stand out its ability to help improve skin texture, even tone, firm, smooth visible lines and provide long-lasting hydration.
Reduced to £19.99 (was £39.99), the serum contains activated niacinamide, vitamin C, vitamin E, collagen peptide and AHA lactic acid, which gives a nice texture that “sinks into skin with no sticky residue“.
One shopper shared: “I have tried many face serums and creams in my life, especially in the past 8 years since turning 30. I have to say, even big luxury brands, but the smoothness and radiance I get from this serum are truly fantastic.”
Dr Sonia Khorana, Clinical Dermatology Expert for Olay, explains: “This is the knockout skinnovation launch for 2024. We know that skincare customers are looking for ways to maintain or improve the healthy appearance of their skin whilst keeping their routine simple.
“Super Serum provides the perfect solution, offering five serum benefits all in one well-priced, quality product that’s suited to all skin types and skin ages.”
Another five-star customer said: “I’m told it looks like I had a filter on me. This serum is so good my grandma swears by Olay I see why she stands by Olay.”
But not everyone raved about the product, with one saying it’s a no for her and explaining: “Made my skin worse, blackheads more obvious. It might actually be a great product for some people but not me.
Some experienced itchy skin and have had breakouts after using the serum but a pensioner disagreed and said: “I’m 71, have only a few if you call wrinkles. Lovely smooth cream, absorbs very quickly.”
Medik8’s Liquid Peptides Serum also works on targeting signs of ageing and cosmetic doctor Dr Ewoma Ukeleghe has been using it for a year and she’s confident to say it improved the firmness of her skin and plumped it with hydration.
A full-size 30ml bottle of the serum is priced at £55 but for first-time users, a travel-friendly 19ml sample size is available for £19.
Shiseido’s Ultimune Power-Infusing Concentrate, from £37, is a powerhouse from Japan, the botanical based ingredients work on the skin so you can say goodbye to dull, tired-looking skin and hello to a revitalised, glowing appearance.
