Chris Brown Sued For Alleged Assault In $50 Million Lawsuit

Chris Brown is facing another serious accusation of physical assault.

The singer was sued Monday for allegedly beating four men backstage at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, after his “11:11 Tour” performance on Friday.

“The violence included Brown and his entourage surrounding the Plaintiffs, throwing chairs at them, and repeatedly kicking, stomping, and beating them,” stated the district court complaint filed in Harris County, Texas, which was obtained by Billboard.

“The unprovoked violence included multiple strikes to the Plaintiffs’ heads and chests, and ultimately involved stomping them while they were down,” the filing continued. “The brutal, violent assault participated in and directed by Brown, severely injured all Plaintiffs.”

Representatives for Brown did not immediately respond to HuffPost’s request for comment.

The suit brought forth by the four plaintiffs — Larry Parker, Joseph Lewis, Charles Bush and Damarcus Powell — named several members of Brown’s entourage as well as tour promoter Live Nation. The plaintiffs were allegedly invited backstage after the show and waited half an hour to meet Brown.

According to the suit, Bush approached Brown to compliment him on the show before leaving, only for a member of the singer’s crew to remind him: “Man, don’t you remember you two were beefing?” The filing alleges Brown then ordered his entourage to “fuck” Bush up.

“One of Brown’s entourage, known by the alias Sinko [Ceej], ran to the left side of the crowd and punched Bush in the chest,” the complaint reportedly alleged. “Simultaneously, another of Brown’s entourage, stage alias Hood Boss, picked up a chair and threw it at Bush’s head.”

Brown then allegedly ordered Markies Deandre Conway, aka Yella Beezy, and several other entourage members to “fuck” up Parker, another plaintiff. The suit claims Parker fled into a stairwell where a locked door left him trapped before Brown and his entourage beat him.

“Upon instruction by Brown, Parker was then punched in the face and chest, kicked in the head for over ten minutes, and stomped on by Defendant Brown,” the filing reportedly alleges. “Brown encouraged his companions to join in the assault simultaneously.”

Brown and his entourage are also accused of punching the two additional plaintiffs, Powell and Lewis, in the shoulder.

The lawsuit says all four men required medical treatment. Parker, who was hospitalized, will allegedly “need to undergo extensive medical treatment for the damages” that include “head injuries,” according to the suit.

The plaintiffs are now seeking compensatory and punitive damages “in excess [of] $50 million,” as well as actual damages for “pecuniary losses, pain and suffering, disfigurement, mental anguish, and past, present, and future medical expenses,” the suit says.

The complaint noted that Ceej, Conway and Brown all have criminal records. It also alleges that tour promoter Live Nation “shamelessly profits and promotes” Brown’s tour without ensuring customers’ safety.
