Geelong veteran Tom Stewart could face scrutiny from the AFL match review officer for a glancing bump on Collingwood’s Nathan Kreuger.
But the incident has come under question with Hawthorn great Luke Hodge accusing Kreuger of “acting” for a free kick.

Kreuger mishandled the ball late in the third quarter and, as he attempted to turn back, was caught by Stewart running the other way.
AFLW premiership player Abbey Holmes had “no doubt” the incident would be looked at by the MRO.
“Unfortunately it does look as though Tom Stewart does drop the shoulder and collect Kreuger on the way through,” she said on Channel 7.
Hodge, though, took a different view of Kreuger’s role in the play.
“He’s fumbled the ball and then he made sure the umpire saw the contact,” the Norm Smith medallist said.
“Because I didn’t think there was much more in that. It looked like a little bit of acting just after the contact was made.”
Melbourne premiership defender Steven May was infamously fined for staging last month for grabbing his head after a regulation tackle.
Kreuger went to ground at speed and was also seen in conversation with the Collingwood medical staff during the three-quarter-time break.
“He did a quick HIA and there didn’t seem to be any lingering concerns there,” Holmes added.
Kreuger remained on the field for the final quarter.
“The question will be does Nathan Kreuger stray into Tom Stewart’s path, or was the contact negligent?” 7NEWS reporter Mitch Cleary said after the game.
“That would determine whether there’s enough contact to warrant a low impact classification. The fact that Kreuger was assessed by doctors will be some point of concern for Tom Stewart, who I’m sure has a bit of a nervous wait.”
In a twist early in the last term, Stewart had a head clash with Pies forward Lachie Schultz with both players taken off the field.
Stewart was treated for a cut above his eye and returned to the field but Schultz was substituted out of the match.
“It will be (a shiner). Kids will look at me a bit differently,” Stewart told Channel 7 afterwards.
“I think that’s the second time me and Lachie Schultz have clashed heads, we’ve got to keep away from each other.”
Schultz has entered concussion protocols and will miss next week’s clash with Hawthorn.
