Taylor Swift fans are getting creeped out by a strange figure watching the pop star perform in Madrid at the top of the stadium.
Before arriving in Scotland for the UK leg of the Eras Tour, Taylor was performing to millions of fans in Spain at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
Footage of the event posted on X (formerly Twitter) has revealed the odd sighting, first panning over the tens of thousands of fans in attendance.
The camera then moves up and zooms in on a shadowy figure in the rafters, apparently dancing or even playing an instrument.
Fans were rather stumped by how the figure got there, with some admitting they were a little creeped out by the video.
“IM SCARED WTF DELETE,” one X user exclaimed.
“This is so creepy,” said another, while a third added: “is he playing a guitar??? up there???”
One fan reacted: “Like obviously it’s a person but… why?? it’s so weirdly ominous.”
“Why is this so creepy,” asked another spooked Swiftie.
Many others compared the strange observer to the Phantom of the Opera, while some made the comparison to the recent Doctor Who episode 73 Yards.
However, some fans also suggested reasonable explanations, such as a security guard or one of the tech staff taking a break to enjoy the performance.
“It was literally a security man, I was near to that section and he was standing there and checking on us all the time,” one fan claimed.

They also revealed the stadium has stairs leading to the upper platform, explaining how the figure managed to get a bird’s-eye-view of the show.
Even so, a video of a strange figure surveying from the rafters isn’t exactly what Swifties want to see just hours before finally being able to watch Taylor live.
The Midnights singer will start off the UK tour with three shows in Edinburgh before stops in Liverpool, Cardiff, London and Dublin.
She’ll then be taking a short break at the end of July before returning to London for a marathon five-show stint at Wembley Stadium.
