Sectoral and thematic funds received the highest inflow in April of around Rs 5,166.05 crore against Rs 7,917.72 crore received in March. The category contributed 27% to the total inflow in the equity category.

This category received the second highest inflow of Rs 2,723.87 crore in April. The category received Rs 1,827.45 crore in March and contributed 14% to the total equity category inflow.

The category received a total inflow of Rs 2,638.91 crore in April against Rs 3,215.58 crore in March. The category contributed 14% to the total equity category inflows.

Smallcap funds received a total inflow of Rs 2,208.70 crore in April against an outflow of Rs 94.17 crore in March. The category contributed 12% to the total inflows in equity mutual funds.

These funds received a total inflow of Rs 2,172.93 crore in April as against Rs 2,738.11 crore in March. Flexicap funds contributed 11% to the total equity mutual funds inflows.

Value and contra funds received a total inflow of Rs 1,986.73 crore in April against an inflow of Rs 1,708.15 crore in March. This category contributed 11% to the total equity mutual fund inflows.

Agencies

​Midcap funds
The midcap funds received a total inflow of Rs 1,793.07 crore in April against Rs 1,017.69 crore in March. It contributed 9% to the equity category inflow.

The largecap funds received a total inflow of Rs 357.56 crore in April against an inflow of Rs 2,127.79 crore. The category contributed 2% to the total inflow in equity mutual funds.
