Great news, everyone! Jalopnik’s favorite gas station, Buc-ee’s, is expanding its already massive Daytona Beach location to include a new car wash. Because this is Buc-ee’s, a gas station that will sell you brisket, home decor, dog toys and baby clothes along with fuel for your car, rest assured that it’s not going to be just any car wash. According to the Daytona Beach News-Journal the new gas station car wash will be 235 feet long.

Yes, you read that right. Two hundred and thirty-five feet. That’s longer than Mike Evans’ 75-yard touchdown in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ week 13 win against the Carolina Panthers. It’s also nearly twice as long as the average car wash in the U.S. Is it really necessary? Probably not, but a longer car wash reportedly gets your car cleaner and will allow Buc-ee’s to wash more cars on any given day.

As long as the car wash is going to be, it’s not a new record. No, that honor goes the the car wash at a Buc-ee’s in Katy, Texas that is 255 feet long. When it opened in 2017, the Guinness Book of World Records declared it the longest gas station in the world. Of course, Texas would have the world’s longest gas station. We’re also not surprised that it’s right outside of Houston, a city that doesn’t exactly do anything small.

Sadly, it’ll be a while before you get the chance to try out Florida’s longest car wash yourself. Buc-ee’s expects construction to take another eight to 10 months, meaning that it won’t be open until August at the earliest. If you happen to be visiting family in Florida next Thanksgiving, though, you should be good to go.

Take that, Jonathan’s Bay.
