A woman is fighting for life after being stabbed in Wollongong on the NSW south coast overnight.
Emergency services were called to to reports of a brawl in Wegit Way, Warrawong about 6.30pm on Wednesday.
“Officers located a 39-year-old woman suffering from stab wounds to her torso,” police said.

She was treated by paramedics and taken to Wollongong Hospital, where she remains in a critical condition.
Three girls, one as young as 13, were arrested a short time later on nearby Northcliffe Dr.
Police also seized a number of items, including knives, which will be sent for forensic examination.
The two older girls, aged 14 and 15, were charged with being armed with intent to commit an indictable offence, custody of a knife in a public place, and affray.
The 14-year-old girl was also charged with stalking or intimidation with intent to cause fear or physical harm, while the youngest girl was charged with affray.
All three girls were refused police bail to appear at a children’s court on Thursday.
Police said initial investigations suggest more people were present at the time of the brawl.
