Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has fans patiently waiting to see if she will make a move on an Instagram account that is reportedly hers – @meghan.
While it is unconfirmed if the wife of Prince Harry is behind the account, it has garnered more than 112,000 fans hoping to catch her first post.
In August, Page Six first reported that Meghan had secured the Instagram handle and was quietly preparing to make a comeback online.

The secret account in question was launched just before Meghan started her now-defunct Spotify podcast.
The account has yet to share a single post, only showing a profile picture of some peonies – notably Meghan’s favourite flower.
“Meghan was set to go live on Insta, but changed her mind shortly before she launched her Archetypes podcast, so it’s just sitting there now,” a source told the publication.
Meghan’s personal social media footprint was abandoned before she married Prince Harry in 2018 including her Instagram @meghanmarkle.
She then joined @kensingtonroyal alongside brother and sister-in-law Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, before she and Harry started @sussexroyal.
The Sussex account closed when they stepped back as senior working royals in 2020.
In August 2022 Meghan first teased her return to Instagram.
“Do you want to know a secret? I’m getting back … on Instagram,” she told The Cut.
Having previously shared aspects of her life openly, she spoke of the strict social media protocol that applies to members of the royal family.
“There’s literally a structure by which if you want to release photos of your child, as a member of the family, you first have to give them to the Royal Rota,” she said.
“Why would I give the very people that are calling my children the N-word a photo of my child before I can share it with the people that love my child?”
“You tell me how that makes sense and then I’ll play that game.”
Along with her Instagram, Meghan sparked speculation she was preparing to bring back her lifestyle blog The Tig.
The Duchess abandoned her passion project in 2017 as she prepared to marry Harry, but Daily Mail reported how she has paid for paperwork to restart it.
The publication claimed that after applying to trademark the blog in November 2022, The Tig had been issued with a Notice of Allowance document by the US Patent and Trademark Office.
A statement of use was all that is required before the blog was fully trademarked.
Documents reportedly showed The Tig would include content on interior design, travel and “commentary in the field of personal relationships”.
Meghan and Harry’s own relationship has come under scrutiny in recent months, after a report from RadarOnline alleging the pair had been “taking time apart”.
A source close to the couple rubbished the claims, telling Page Six: “It’s not true. It’s literally made up.”
