A mum has shared the Amazon buys that “saved” her when travelling with her two children, aged two and four.
The American woman, called Sierra, shared a now-viral video on Instagram where she highlighted the list of practical and fun buys.
“These saved us when travelling and have been some of my kids’ favourite things to play with since,” Sierra wrote on her Instagram page.

“For reference, I have a two- and barely four-year-old, and kids need snacks.”
Top of Sierra’s list was a set of stacking cups and a snack spinning device, which you can put food in to spin around and keep them entertained.
Similar items on Amazon will set you back $37 for stacking cups and $45 for the snack spinner.
“The snack spinner is great. It’s like a toy and a snack container all in one,” Sierra said.
She added that both these buys also help to keep things “a lot cleaner” – which is key when on the road with young kids.
Following this, Sierra also got her hands on a series of plates which can easily be clipped onto car seats and rotated – making them perfect for meals on the move, as well as a rotating tablet holder that is perfect for the car.
She also bought a series of activities to keep her children busy and occupied – including a magnetic alphabet board which “both my kids fight over” and a mess-free sensory painting board that lights up and plays music.
A similar doodle board on Amazon costs $32 and comes with a host of glowing five-star reviews.
She has a mess-free painting kit which Sierra said is “always sold out” – and her daughter already loves it.
“It feels like they’re painting without the mess, which is perfect for the car,” she said.
Finally, Sierra said she never goes anywhere without her “suction building toys” – which her children love for “any window on a plane, car or at our destination”.
You can find these here for just $24.90.
The suction building blocks boast a host of glowing reviews on Amazon, where shoppers have given them an impressive 4.4 star rating.
“The girls really loved this, they are aged one and nearly three and both girls play with it differently but love it equally,” one mum wrote of the blocks.
Another added: “I bought a set of these to keep the nephews busy during the holidays. They get a massive thumbs up”.
