Patrick Schwarzenegger and Abby Champion‘s wedding is slowly taking shape.
As the Gen V alum exclusively admitted to E! News correspondent Will Marfuggi at GQ‘s Men of the Year party Nov. 14, the couple—who got engaged last December after seven years together—is a bit “behind” schedule when it comes to planning their upcoming nuptials.
The son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver—who donned a brown suede suit over a tank top that he accessorized with western-style belt and a cowboy hat—also confessed that it was his fiancée who picked out his stylish outfit for the star-studded event.
In fact, Patrick joked that he and Abby are running so late on planning their big day that his could just make things easier for himself and rewear the ensemble for his wedding.
“Maybe I’ll just wear this,” he laughed, “and we’ll call it a day.” (For more with Patrick, tune into E! News Monday, Nov. 18 at 11 p.m.)
It’s no surprise that wedding planning has taken a backseat as Patrick has kept busy. And the 31-year-old is also poised for a big year in 2025, when he’ll appear in the highly-anticipated third season of HBO’s The White Lotus, which wrapped filming in Thailand earlier this year.
