The British singer revealed a few months ago that she joined OnlyFans to sell photos of her feet and she has since given an update on just how lucrative her page has become.

After sharing four very different photos of her feet on X, one user responded, “Imagine being one of the biggest pop stars/musicians in Europe and then being reduced to this.”

Allen reshared the post along with a jaw-dropping message of her own: “Imagine being an artist and having nearly eight million monthly listeners on Spotify but earning more money from having 1,000 people subscribe to pictures of your feet.”

The “F*** You” songstress added: “Don’t hate the player, hate the game.”

What does that all mean as far as numbers go?

Allen, who has more than 7.4 million monthly listeners on Spotify, receives about 850,000 streams per day on the digital service, which translates to more than 25.5 million streams per month, according to streaming data site Kworb.

A royalty calculator on Billboard estimated Allen’s music generates about $122,000 per month, but that cash is shared with record labels, producers, songwriters and other collaborators.

“Lily Allen makes around $4,077 daily from Spotify, according to new Billboard article, which equates to $1.4 million annually,” Pop Crave shared on X.

“With $3,239 going to sound recording for the copyright owner; $336 of mechanical royalties going to the publisher, who pays the songwriter; and $503 in performance royalties going to performance rights organizations.”

However, Allen disputed the breakdown, replying, “This is incredibly misleading, but I’m not smart enough to explain how I make a tiny percentage of what is quoted here. You’ll just have to trust me that neoliberal capitalism doesn’t care about artists being paid for their work.”

Meanwhile, the singer’s OnlyFans page costs $10 monthly and if she boasts in the neighbourhood of 1,000 subscribers as she stated, her account makes about $10,000 each month — which all goes directly to Allen.

On the other hand, Spotify pays out approximately three cents to five cents to artists each time someone streams an artist’s song, according to Variety.

Allen first spoke about the possibility of selling foot content during her Miss Me? podcast with co-host Miquita Oliver this summer.

“I have a lady that comes and does my nails,” Allen explained. “They informed me that I have five stars on WikiFeet, which is quite rare. My feet are rated quite highly on the internet.”

She continued that her nail lady suggested she could “make a lot of money from selling foot content on OnlyFans,” which she initially didn’t take seriously.

However, she changed her tune quick — and admitted her husband David Harbour “thinks it’s great.”

Allen clarified that she has “strict guidelines” when it comes to her OnlyFans content.

“Believe me, these guys are all up in my DMs telling me they want bespoke content and asking me for all kinds of crazy stuff and I take such pleasure in just saying: only feet, only feet.”
