Peel Regional Police say officers raced to the scene after a shooter, or shooters, rolled up on a vehicle that was parked in a plaza off Rutherford Rd. S. – between Glidden and Selby Rds. – and opened fire around 6 a.m.
“What we know so far is there were six occupants in the vehicle,” Const. Richard Chin told reporters at the scene Saturday. “Now, at some point, another vehicle attended and began shooting at this parked vehicle.”
“Our officers did locate several individuals that had suffered some injuries. And, unfortunately, one of those people was pronounced deceased on scene,” he explained.
