NRLW superstar Millie Elliott has premiership ring stolen days after grand final win

Sydney Roosters star Millie Elliott has had her 2024 NRLW premiership ring stolen just days after winning the grand final.

The Roosters triumphed over Cronulla just six days ago, winning a thriller by just four points, making Elliott a four-time premiership player.

It also meant she became the first player in NRLW history to win premierships with three separate clubs.

But the 26-year-old has only three of her four rings left, after the most recent one was stolen from her house by thieves during the night.

“If you work at a pawnshop in Newy and someone comes in with a number eight premiership ring to swap for cash please let me know because it’s probably not theirs and they came into my house at night and stole it,” she wrote on Instagram.

Elliott starred in the Roosters’ wins, adding to her incredible legacy, having already claimed titles with Brisbane (2019, 2020) and Newcastle (2021).

The international gun is in camp on the Gold Coast as part of the Jillaroos squad ahead of the national team’s first Test against Papua New Guinea in Brisbane on Friday.

The rings are worth $10,000.

Each one has its player’s jersey number engraved on it, making them easily identifiable.

Fellow champion prop Glenn Lazarus is the only other player in NRL or NRLW history to have won premierships with three different clubs.

Lazarus became the first and only men’s player to achieve that feat when he captained Melbourne to a famous victory in the 1999 grand final – his last premiership game.

The front-rower nicknamed ‘The Brick With Eyes’ had previously won two premierships each with Canberra (1989, 1990) and Brisbane (1992, 1993) during a five-year run playing in every decider.

Eillott, nee Boyle, is married to NRL player Adam Elliott.
