The facelift has a redesigned front grille and new headlight designs. The rear section will include new LED taillamps and a revised bumper design. The car will also have new alloy wheels, including six-spoke dual-tone alloy wheels.
Interiors and features
The interior will have a dual-tone theme of black and orange, with slight tweaks. However, the cabin layout is largely similar to the outgoing model. The car comes with a larger infotainment system with with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a bigger digital driver’s display, automatic climate control, a wireless phone charger, and a single-pane sunroof. The car also comes with leatherette seat covers, and a steering wheel, which is fitted with anti-heating for warm countries like India.
Further, the SUV comes with four ambient interior lights. 10 litre glove box, 366 litres of boot-space. All doors will have 1 litre bottle capacity. Rare seat cup holder and mobile holder.
It also has a new I-Key to start remotely the engine upto 60 m, approach unlock, walkaway lock, which will automatic lock and unlock the vehicle.
The compact SUV is equip with over 55 active and passive safety features, including six airbags as standard and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).The model is available in Sunrise Copper Orange and 13 other colours for international markets. This includes Eight mono tone and five multicoulors.
Engine specifications
The engine will be the same as the outgoing model. It includes a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine producing 99 Horsepower. It is paired with a five-speed manual transmission (MT). The variant gives a mileage of 20 kmpl, claimed the company. The model is also available in a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). This variant will have a mileage of 17.4 kmpl.
The car comes in six variants, including Visa, Visa+, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna, and Tekna+.
Nissan’s expansion plan
The carmaker said that the plan for the next few fiscals will be more profitable, sustainable, electrified, and global, focussing on Europe, Africa, Oceania, and Asia.
Speaking of the plant at Chennai, the company said that it is the first plant globally to become water positive and has reduced carbon footprint. It further added that that the solar capacity would be expanded from 2.2 MW to 14 MW till 2026 at the Chennai plant.
