All of the Beauty Looks Megan Thee Stallion Wore at the 2024 VMAs—See Photos

When the team at MTV was planning the 40th annual Video Music Awards, they knew just who to call as host: the Hot Girl Coach herself, Megan Thee Stallion. To say we were excited to hear that news is an understatement, as we knew Megan was going to pull out all the stops with her glam and her wardrobe both as emcee and a featured performer. Megan Thee Stallion hosting and performing at the the 2024 VMAs? That’s not a beauty moment—that’s a beauty event.

Before the “Cobra” rapper hit the red carpet, makeup artist Lauren Child prepped her skin with products from the INKEY List, including the Allure Best of Beauty Award-winning Hyaluronic Acid Serum. “Skin prep is the foundation for flawless, long-lasting makeup. It’s so important to have skincare products that you trust will work well under makeup that need to last and look great on stage and TV,” Child shared. “Because the foundation I use for TV and performances is full coverage, matte, and long lasting, I like to make sure the skin beneath is well hydrated and plumped without being too oily.”

Child then applied the brand’s Omega Water Cream to plump and hydrate Megan’s skin, using light tapping and upward sweeping motions to “stimulate blood flow and make sure the hydration is locked into the skin and not just sitting on top.” Next was the Caffeine Eye Cream to depuff, then the Tripeptide Plumping Lip Balm both during prep and the show itself. “I’ll be using this product throughout the night for a quick gloss during touch ups as well as it gives the lips a healthy, juicy appearance,” Child told Allure.
