An 82-year-old ‘nana’ shocked the internet with her age, when she posted a video on TikTok with the viral and trending audio “tell me you don’t look your age without telling me you don’t look your age”.
“You win!!! [this trend],” proclaimed her granddaughter and stand-up comedian Hannah Brenner.
As more comments started flooding in, ranging from “queen energy” and “beautiful skin!” to “You got it mama. I thought [you were] 45 tops,” Vera DiLeo left her audience wanting for more, as they begged for her skincare routine.
The grandmother obliged her fans and gave them an in-depth tutorial on her skincare routine, and all the beauty products that she uses, to prevent wrinkles.
As a big fan of Clinique, Vera DiLeo said she uses the Clinique Clean Cleanser, their Clarifying Lotion Exfoliator as well as the Exfoliating Scrub to wash her face. She also uses Clinique’s makeup remover.
She also admits to liking the Eminence Acai moisturiser, and uses the Eminence Age Corrective night cream on her neck.
The internet favourite runs a vintage clothing business, and shares glimpses from her life online, from the food she’s cooking, makeup she’s loving, and the clothes and jewellery that catch her eye.
Commenting on her walk through of the now-coveted skincare routine, one user said: “This is the skincare routine we want to know, not from those in their 20s and 30s.”
