Every second person I know is either in Europe or getting ready to hope across the pond for their summer holiday and I can’t help but feel envious.
While I dream of cacio e pepe pasta and limoncello spritesz, I will settle for living vicariously through their Instagram feeds.
But it doesn’t mean I haven’t been helping them with their outfits and swimwear choices for the upcoming travel plans ahead.

It is no secret that I love swimwear. As someone who was born and bred in Queensland and is an avid beachgoer, I own more swimsuits than I do jeans, dresses and shoes.
If you ask me, one can never have enough.
So, I have compiled a list of seven of the best swimsuits I would take if I was going for a Euro summer, from these tried and tested brands.
1. Bydee Swimwear
Bydee is currently one of the hottest swimwear brands around with plenty of celebrities coveting this Aussie swimwear and resort label.
Favoured among the likes of Alessandra Ambrosio, Alix Earle and Millie Bobbi Brown, their swimsuits feature stunning designs with intricate beading and gem details.
This Aussie brand was born from a love of detail and design at its founder’s family kitchen bench in her teens.
“It was my mum who made sure my sister and I knew how to make our clothes and costumes,” Dessy Hairis said.
Stimulated by a swimwear obsession and her Mediterranean roots, Bydee has evolved from a market stall to an internationally recognised brand.
Dessy draws inspiration from her travels and each new collection is designed to transport Bydee Babes to their dream destination.
A current favourite and one of the brand’s most popular swimsuits is Bydee’s Prague Top and Prague Bottom in the style Hermosa.
I have convinced more than a few friends to purchase this standout swimsuit for their European summer.
“Hermosa” is a print inspired by the enchanting summers of Europe and exudes vintage charm with delicate scattered florals, evoking a sense of romance and timeless allure.
It’s made with luxe Italian double-lined fabric which is 100 per cent regenerated nylon, constructed from post-consumer materials.
The bikini top which costs $99 features an adjustable double strap detail, a triangle cup as well as an under bust band with a centre back hook closure.
The prague bottoms which cost $79 feature cheeky bottom coverage and can be worn either hipster style or on the high hip.
If I were off to Europe, I would be grabbing this bikini ASAP as it’s sure to sell out.
2. Ark Swimwear
I’ve been wearing Ark Swimwear for years. It’s lightweight, comfortable and built to last.
Ark’s motto is “because simple done well is hard to find”, and isn’t that the truth?
I love classic, timeless swimsuits that can be worn year after year in both the ocean and the pool.

It is also fully lined, which is always a must for me and those with bigger bust sizes.

The string tie side bikini bottoms are adjustable for all shapes and also fully lined and designed for minimal tan lines.

3. SAME
If you’re wanting to make more of a statement with your swimsuit this upcoming summer and would prefer something less classic and more unique, look no further than SAME.
This luxury swimwear brand from Los Angeles is one I only recently discovered but am already enamored with it.
I have my eye on SAME’s Rose Triangle Top in in Pink Stripe for $249 with the matching Rose 90s Bottom also in Pink Stripe for $233.
While on the pricier side, this stylish swimsuit is sure to make a statement.
The bikini is a part of SAME’s La Vie En Rose Collection which adds a feminine touch to staple bikinis that every closet needs.
The triangle bikini top features adjustable ties and a handmade three-dimensional rose bloom.
The 90s bottoms are a modern take on a retro staple featuring a high-rise silhouette, high cut legs and just-right cheeky coverage, also adorned with a handmade three-dimensional rose bloom.
4. ZAFUL
This brand is perfect if you want quality swimwear that is stylish but that won’t break the bank.

I grew up with this iconic Aussie swimwear brand and have worn their swimsuits for as long as I can remember.
Seafolly definitely has better seasons than others but this year is an absolute showstopper.

Ever since then the swimwear brand has embodied the Australian beach lifestyle.

What caught my eye most with Sea Level’s swimwear is its beautiful selection of one pieces.
While normally I am a bikini girl, I have a newfound appreciation for a gorgeous, supportive one piece.

I love a beautiful print or pattern when it comes to bikinis.
