A Woolworths customer has sparked a social media frenzy with the savvy way she scored $79 worth of groceries for just $15.

The Everyday Rewards Extra member revealed, via Instagram account @bargain.boss, she took home three huge roasts and two packs of cocktail sausages for a fraction of the cost.

She explained she went shopping late at night and discovered the items had been heavily reduced.

The shopper then used her monthly Everyday Rewards Extra discount to reduce the price even more, saying “$15.85 for $79 worth of groceries — this is why I shop at night!”

“Popped into Woolworths last week and these items were marked down to 80 per cent off,” she said.

“Plus, I used my Everyday Extra monthly 10 per cent off, bringing it down even further. Best bargain I’ve scored in a while.

“Do you shop for markdowns? The savings add up quickly, especially if you freeze the items.”
