The two nine-year-old canines are just a two of the incredible police pooches featured in the calendar available now at the OPP Off Duty Shop at oppshop.on.ca for $20 each with all proceeds going to the OPP Youth Foundation and the Friends of The OPP Museum.
Last year’s calendar sales raised more than $30,000 for the foundation providing funds to Ontario’s disadvantaged youth. The museum is a volunteer-based charitable organization that supports, promotes and assists in preserving the OPP’s history.
For more than 50 years, the OPP Canine Unit handlers and canines have assisted in search and rescue, tracking wanted persons, detecting narcotics, and searching for firearms, explosives and physical evidence.
