DETROIT -10.5 over Chicago

The Bears are going to be a much better team next season when they hire coach that is actually capable of managing a game.

New York Giants +3.5 over DALLAS

The only question remaining for the Giants is which QB they’ll be targeting in next year’s draft. There’s an outside shot that the Cowboys could make the playoffs, but damn, I wouldn’t be able to wait to bet against them.

GREEN BAY -3 over Miami

This should’ve been a best bet. The Dolphins are terrible in cold weather and they’re terrible against playoff teams. This off-season will be interesting in Miami.

Las Vegas +12 over KANSAS CITY

The Chiefs may have 10 wins this season, but only one has come by more than 10 points. The Raiders are in rough shape but will be competing hard in this unique Black Friday spot against their biggest rival.

Seattle -1.5 over NEW YORK JETS

The Jets soap opera becomes more of a tragedy by the week. This team looks like it’s toast.

Pittsburgh +2.5 over CINCINNATI

The Steelers as an underdog against a division rival? Sign me up. No other details needed.

NEW ENGLAND +2.5 over Indianapolis

It’s too hard to back the oh-so inconsistent Anthony Richardson, especially on the road and giving points.

Tennessee +5.5 over WASHINGTON*

You can’t help but be concerned about the Commanders offence and OC Kliff Kingsbury’s inability an unwillingness to switch things up. The Titans defence is just good enough to give the Commies some headaches and keep it close.

Arizona +3.5 over MINNESOTA

The Cards blew it for me last week in Seattle and get another tough road matchup against one of the league’s best defences. But laying more than a field goal with this Vikes team is a bit too much.

ATLANTA +1.5 over L.A. Chargers

The Chargers come off a tough loss to the Ravens on Monday night in which they lost JK Dobbin and now face a Falcons team coming off their bye across the country in an early start. We’ll reluctantly back the hosts.

JACKSONVILLE +5 over Houston

The Jags are looking like they’ll have Trevor Lawrence back after their bye and we’re still not buying this Houston Texans offence. There’s too many issues with C.J. Stroud stuck in a sophomore slump.

Tampa Bay -6 over CAROLINA

Just because Bryce Young has looked like a somewhat reasonable NFL starting QB, doesn’t mean we’re going to back this Panthers team against a strong rival. Baker and the Bucs should roll here like they did against the Giants.

L.A. Rams -3 over NEW ORLEANS

The Saints may be well-rested, but the Rams are the better squad and have the pass rush to pressure Derek Carr into check-downs and mistakes.

BALTIMORE -3 over Philadelphia

There’s an outside shot this could be a Super Bowl preview and we have the two best RBs in the league facing off. But the one number we’re looking at is Lamar Jackson’s astounding record against NFC opponents: 23-3.

BUFFALO -6.5 over San Francisco

Snow and heavy winds look to be in the forecast for this one and, with Brock Purdy being very limited in practice, this should be a rough one for the 49ers.

DENVER -5.5 over Cleveland

The Broncos are coming off a 10-point win over the Raiders in Las Vegas and why should we think that they can’t score a decent victory over the Browns at home now? Cleveland was lucky to pull out last week’s win over Pittsburgh in the snow.

Last week: 7-6

This season: 89-88-2
